DYNASTS OF LYCIA. Vekhssere I, circa 450-430 BC. Diobol (Silver, 11 mm, 1.35 g), uncertain mint. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. 𐊇𐊁𐊜 ('Wex' in Lycian) Triskeles; all within pelleted square within incuse square. Müseler V, 17 (this coin). Vismara, Wekhssere 44. A real gem of a coin, with a wonderful head of Athena. Light scratches on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
